The Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) has initiated the program of ''Providing education and employment in the information technology sector for the soldiers being demobilized from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia'', the aim of which is to give basic engineering knowledge and skills to the soldiers, who took part in the military actions of April and were demobilized or who will be demobilized in the near future, to the wounded soldiers, to the members of their families, as well as to the members of the families of the dead soldiers.
Taking into consideration the activity increasing in the technological sector and the demand for the specialists in the market, the program is aimed at solving the problem of employment of the people who completed the course, as well as sowing skills of technology entrepreneurship among them.

At present UITE has established about 130 engineering club-laboratories in the schools and educational centers of the Republic of Armenia (including NKR), where the program of ''Providing education and employment in the information technology sector for the soldiers being demobilized from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia'' is planned to be carried out.

The program will be carried out through courses. The duration of the program is six months. Maximum 15 people can be included in each educational club. The course will enable the people included in the club to master the basic principles of programming from a primary computer programming language (Scratch) to a high-level programming language (JavaScript), as well as to learn the principles of robotics. There is a three-dimensional printer, a drilling machine, a collection of a robot and computers in the above-mentioned laboratories. It is expected that the program will launch in September-October of this year. In Yerevan, the first course has launched on July 15.

For participating in the course it is necessary to:
•    Come to the Territorial Military Commissariat with ID card and Military card and register.
•    Register in the Territorial Employment Center of ''State Employment Service'' Agency of the Ministry of Labour and Social Issues of the Republic of Armenia for getting a status of an unemployed or a jobseeker. During registration a person should wish to acquire the profession of programmer.

We should also note that the Ministry of Labour and Social Issues of the Republic of Armenia and the Military Commissariat have submitted their support to the program.
